One of the most common questions we get from clients: should I run Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) or Google Ads? The answer depends on what you're selling, who your customer is, and where they are in the buying journey.
Google Ads work best when people are actively searching for what you offer — 'plumber in Indore,' 'best coaching centre for NEET,' 'Shopify developer India.' You're intercepting high-intent buyers at the moment they're looking.
Best for: local services, B2B with defined search terms, e-commerce with product-specific searches, and businesses where customers know what they need.
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) excel at reaching people who don't know they need you yet. Powerful targeting by age, location, interests, and behaviour makes it ideal for building awareness and generating leads at scale.
Best for: restaurants, clinics, coaching centres, real estate, lifestyle brands, and any business where visual content drives decisions.
Google Ads typically cost more per click (₹20–₹200+ depending on industry) but deliver higher-intent traffic. Meta Ads are generally cheaper per click (₹5–₹30) but require stronger creative and landing pages to convert.
Both platforms need 2–4 weeks of testing to find winning audiences and creatives. Budget at least ₹15,000–₹20,000/month per platform to gather meaningful data.
For most local Indian businesses, start with Meta Ads for lead generation and brand awareness, then add Google Ads once you know your best-converting services.
For B2B and high-ticket services, Google Ads often delivers better ROI from day one. Many of our clients run both — Meta for top-of-funnel, Google for bottom-of-funnel.
